New Balance launch first 3D printed running shoe

Just another, almost daily, story of the unique opportunities that are being created with 3D Printing today. New Balance have been experimenting with 3D printing for some time now, however, as of April this year (in the USA) they will start offering bespoke 3D printed mid soles specifically designed and engineered for your feet.

Thanks to a combination of 3D Systems unique print technology plus their development of  DuraForm® Flex TPU an elastomeric SLA powder have enabled the finished product to have the right degree of flexible performance.
